Things I have Learnt This Holiday

on May 24, 2014

Take lidded baby wipes to the beach.

Take spray sun tan lotions to the beach.

Elvis loves dogs, the sea and playing in the sand.

He also loves Mega Blocks building bricks.

I do not need as many clothes as I took.

Neither does Elvis.

Pack the carry on bags so what we need on the plane is actually accessible.

A changing bag cannot fit everything you need for the beach; take a beach bag, too.

With a bit of perserverance, Elvis can be made, ahem, to do anything. Like wear his shoes.

The little rucksack/rein alternative is amazing for Elvis.

Daddy and I love Mega Blocks building bricks!

I have to stop letting people get to me and assert myself when it comes to my son.

Using the travel vacuum bags for clothes are perfect. They differentiate each persons clothes when we get on holiday and can be sorted into washing loads for the return!

Travelling with a one year old is okay, but booking a lunch time flight still means an early wake up. Next time, do an evening flight so I have a night of banked sleep!
