Nursery Reservations

on June 16, 2014

It finally happened. I have finally had some sad thoughts about nursery.

We were at a toddler group and Elvis was happily playing in the garden when he started to look around for me. He didn’t seem worried and, when he saw me, he didn’t smile in relief; he was just checking on me. What happens at nursery when he wants to check where I am?

Then we were singing Row Your Boat and we do it both facing the same way and I thought,  one day he’ll come home and tell me he does it the other way now.

Which of course won’t happen until he can talk and, of course, will only be the first of sooooo many things he’ll change over time because it’s the whole point in growing up, right?

Growing up!

And I have to face this things. Elvis is currently napping before I give him lunch and then head off for our first taster session – an hour where we both play there together. I’m starting to get really nervous!
